Roles and Responsibilities

This position will work closely with the Lead Product Manager and various stakeholders to define and document product features specific to NetSuite implementations. The NetSuite Product Manager is responsible for overseeing product planning and execution throughout the Product Life Cycle within the NetSuite ecosystem. Key Responsibilities:

• Enhance the organizations performance in delivering NetSuite products by managing cross-functional development efforts with Product Owners, Business Analysts, and Scrum teams.
• Support the development of the product vision, goals, themes, and features within the NetSuite platform, translating these into a product roadmap and long-term strategy for feature development.
• Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured product requirements for the NetSuite development team, ensuring alignment with business needs and customer expectations.
• Participate in and lead daily scrum ceremonies, guide refinement sessions, and engage with your Engineering team, helping to direct focus and maintain momentum.
• Coordinate with the development team for technical R&D and address specific challenges in the NetSuite ecosystem.
• Translate product directives into clear backlog items, ensuring they represent customer needs effectively, and guide their prioritization and execution.
• Serve as the primary source of external and internal information for the scrum teams, providing clear definitions of the targeted NetSuite capabilities and value to customers.
• Collaborate closely with the development team on technical implementation and integration challenges specific to NetSuite.
• Work with the UI/UX designer to ensure the development of an optimal user experience and final designs for the NetSuite product interface.
• Manage release cycles, including personally testing builds to ensure that the product meets defined requirements and standards before sign-off.
• Review relevant product documentation for technical accuracy, ensuring it aligns with NetSuites functionality.
• Effectively communicate product release contents, capabilities, and behavior to both internal and external stakeholders, ensuring transparency across teams.
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure global visibility of product features and progress.
• Act as a product evangelist to foster awareness and understanding of the NetSuite product suite.
• Collect, analyze, and process data from various sources, including NetSuite usage statistics, customer feedback, and app analytics. Prepare detailed reports showcasing findings and trends.
• Communicate the product vision to technical teams and other internal stakeholders, ensuring alignment with the broader company goals.
• Ensure that the correct features are being developed within NetSuite, considering the value being delivered relative to the cost of delivery.
• Monitor and identify impediments to the release objectives for NetSuite products and suggest corrective actions when necessary.
• Perform any other duties as assigned.

Required Skillset and Pre-requisite

To be considered for this role, the individual must be able to perform each essential duty and responsibility satisfactorily. The following qualifications are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required:

• 5+ years of prior experience in a product owner, product manager, or senior business analyst role, with a focus on NetSuite or similar ERP systems.
• Strong understanding of Agile and Scrum methodologies, particularly in the context of NetSuite product development.
• Proven ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
• Excellent ability to gather and elicit cooperation from various stakeholders, including management, clients, and cross-functional teams.
• Ability to manage a heavy workload, balancing multiple projects and frequent interruptions.
• Adaptability to work in a dynamic, ever-changing environment.
• In-depth knowledge of the NetSuite platform and its ecosystem, along with experience in the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Strong attention to detail and a results-oriented approach, with an understanding of the impact of NetSuite functionalities on business operations.
• Excellent problem-solving, conflict resolution, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
• Prior experience with business analysis, documenting use cases, and gathering requirements specific to NetSuite implementations.
