Job Description
to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, coding, and modifying websites, from layout to function, according to client specifications. You will work closely with designers and project managers to create visually appealing and user-friendly websites and web applications.
Responsibilities : - Write well-designed, testable, and efficient code using best software development practices.
- Create website layouts and user interfaces by leveraging standard HTML/CSS practices.
- Integrate data from various back-end services and databases.
- Collaborate with designers to match visual design intent and ensure website aesthetics.
- Develop and maintain responsive, mobile-first websites that perform seamlessly across different devices and browsers.
- Troubleshoot and resolve website performance issues, bugs, and other technical problems.
- Maintain, expand, and scale websites based on business needs.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends to apply them in development.
- Ensure high performance and accessibility of websites by implementing SEO and web optimization practices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to determine technical requirements and timelines.
- Proven experience as a Web Developer or similar role.
- Strong proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery .
- Experience with front-end frameworks like Bootstrap or Foundation .
- Familiarity with back-end technologies such as PHP, Node.js, Python , or Ruby .
- Proficient understanding of content management systems like WordPress, Drupal, or Joomla.
- Strong knowledge of version control (e.g., Git).
- Experience in creating and maintaining databases (e.g., MySQL, MongoDB ).
- Understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around them.
- Familiarity with website performance optimization techniques.
- Basic understanding of SEO principles and web analytics tools.
- Experience with React.js, Vue.js , or Angular for front-end development.
- Familiarity with eCommerce platforms like WooCommerce or Shopify.
- Knowledge of RESTful APIs and integration with web applications.
- Basic understanding of cloud services (e.g., AWS, Azure) and hosting environments.
- Experience in UI/UX design principles and web accessibility standards.
- Knowledge of web security practices and techniques (e.g., SSL , cross-site scripting prevention).
1+ years of experience in web development.
Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology , or a related field (or equivalent experience).
