Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Web Developer to design, develop, and maintain dynamic, user-friendly websites while managing and optimizing content delivery. The ideal candidate will have expertise in web technologies, content management systems, and a passion for creating engaging online experiences. Experience in web site administration and hosting would be a plus.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain responsive and visually appealing websites.
- Implement and manage Content Management Systems (CMS) for seamless content updates.
- Collaborate with design and content teams to ensure cohesive and engaging website experiences.
- Optimize websites for performance, security, and scalability.
- Troubleshoot and debug website issues to ensure smooth functionality.
- Integrate third-party tools and APIs as required.
- Monitor website analytics and recommend improvements for user experience.
- Stay updated with the latest web technologies and industry trends.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven experience in web development with a strong portfolio of websites built.
- Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks like React, Angular, or Vue.js.
- Experience with CMS platforms such as WordPress, Drupal, or Joomla.
- Knowledge of server-side languages (e.g., PHP, Python, or Node.js) and databases like MySQL.
- Familiarity with web hosting, domain management, and version control (e.g., Git).
- Strong understanding of web performance optimization and SEO best practices.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines effectively.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in UI/UX design and graphic tools (e.g., Figma, Adobe XD).
- Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and CI/CD pipelines.
- Familiarity with security standards and practices in web development.
