Who is an Associate: Accounts/Finance?

Associate: Accounts/Finance is a professional closely working with the Finance/Operations Manager/HR Department/Sales Department for managing the recurring tasks related to accounts, invoicing/receipts, banking, receivables and payables, salaries calculation, budgeting, expenses control etc. He should be responsible for day-to- day accounting/finance related activities and analyzing the financial performance of the organization. Should be able to share suggestions for improving the financial performance and internal accounting/billing/finance management related processes.

Candidate Profile:

Must have strong analytical abilities (quantitative as well as qualitative).

Candidate should have worked on the same or similar profile in any Company (IT/Software Company would be preferable).

Must have sound knowledge/experience of Double Entry Accounting System, Income Taxes/GST.

Should be good at Tracking Expenses.

Self-starter with the ability to streamline functions and passion to learn and grow.

Proficiency with MS Office is required.

Must possess excellent communication, presentation skills, and be comfortable to work under strict deadlines.

This position requires an individual who can work independently in a dynamic environment that requires multi-tasking.

Job Responsibilities:

Scheduling expenditures; monitoring costs; analyzing variances

Book Keeping/Daily Accounting for Expenses/Receipts, Debtors/Creditors, Invoices/Vouchers keeping, Loans/Advances and other related heads. Maintaining different files for different vendors and expense heads.

Ensure that Accounting Department requests are resolved and communicated promptly to internal and external parties.

Invoice Tracking and arrangement for local and offshore clients based on different milestones achieved.

Keeping the concerned seniors and Top Management updated about the key activities, incidents, deficiencies, breakdowns, improvements and achievements.
