Role Description :

This is a full-time on-site role for a Director of Engineering located in Kochi.

As the Director of Software Engineering for Platform Engineering services, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our technical direction and driving innovation across our Platform Engineering Services offerings.

This position demands a visionary leader who can bridge sophisticated technical expertise with strategic business acumen to deliver exceptional value to our clients.

Core Responsibilities :

Leadership :

- Drive the evolution of our Platform Engineering services, encompassing everything from foundational architecture to production deployment at scale.

- Establish technical standards and governance frameworks that ensure security, scalability, and operational excellence.

- Pioneer innovations in DevOps, Observability and AIOps to enhance enterprise performance and enable data-driven decision-making.

- Design and implement cloud-native architectures that ensure seamless scaling across major cloud providers (AWS & Azure).

Client Management :

- Serve as a trusted technical advisor to C-suite executives, helping shape their Platform Engineering strategies Build and nurture strategic relationships with key stakeholders, ensuring alignment between technical capabilities and business objectives.

- Lead technical discovery sessions and architecture reviews with clients to craft optimal Platform Engineering solutions.

- Demonstrate thought leadership through technical presentations and strategic roadmap development.

Delivery :

- Spearhead the implementation of sophisticated MLOps, AIOps, DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and Observability projects.

- Establish robust Platform Engineering governance frameworks that address security, compliance, and ethical considerations.

- Optimize resource allocation and delivery efficiency while maintaining exceptional quality standards.

Required Qualifications :

- Demonstrated mastery of Platform Engineering offerings, with particular emphasis on Containerization (EKS, AKS), AIOps, Observability and DevOps.

- Extensive experience with modern tools (Terraform, Harness, Prometheus, Grafana etc.) and proven track record in cloud platform architecture (AWS & Azure) and Kubernetes orchestration.

- Expertise in implementing Observability solutions and performance monitoring frameworks.

- Experience with AI-powered anomaly detection and system optimization.

- Exceptional ability to translate complex technical concepts into business value propositions.

- Proven track record of building and leading high-performing engineering teams.

- Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving capabilities.

- Outstanding communication and presentation skills.

- Demonstrated success in client-facing roles and pre-sales activities.
