What you'll achieve :

As a Principal Consultant (Delivery Enterprise Architect) within the Dell organization, aligned to Consulting Service Delivery, you will provide consultative business and technical delivery services for a range of complex customer-facing consulting engagements, in partnership with Global Pre-Sales, Account Management and Solutioning Teams.

Specifically, you will be part of projects deploying, administering and configurating large scale deployment, implementation, development and post-deployment testing (all using Agile Methodologies) of use-cases in various technological areas ranging from Application Modernisation, Infrastructure-as-Code, Infrastructure Automations, DevSecOps, Multi-Cloud and Generative AI.

These projects will focus on allowing Dell customers to deploy and fine-tune software performance on Dell hardware and thereby, increase install-base

You will :

- As the senior-most technical member of the Services Delivery team, for the Digital Transformation Practice, you will work alongside other Dell badged Consultants, Sr. Consultants and Advisory Consultants, to earn the customer's trust through competence, technical acumen, consulting expertise, and partnership.

- You would also be responsible for providing guidance/oversight to these individuals and technical grooming activities for their skill upgrading.

- This position requires a dynamic individual with expert customer-facing skills, leadership qualities and forecasting abilities for a particular technology and its lifecycle.

- The ability to guide customers and communicate technical processes and ideas is essential. These engagements often ensure that the customer is also enabled in the technologies being delivered.

Here's what we are looking for with this role :

Essential Requirements :

- Overall 18+ years of experience in the IT Industry, with preferably a master's degree in computer science & engineering etc and 12+ years of experience working in the fields of DevOps, Infrastructure-as-Code, DevSecOps, Application Modernization and Digital Transformation, in a customer-facing services delivery role.

- Ability to engage Senior DevOps Engineers and Architects to explore their existing and future ecosystem.

- 10+ years of experience implementing and supporting infrastructure deployment, setup, and configuration through automation (preferable)

- Deep understanding of the DevSecOps tooling ecosystem including knowledge and experience of Kubernetes, MLOps and AIOps tools.

- Proven experience utilizing DevOps and IaC practices for both application development and infrastructure automation such as building desired-state configuration, leveraging GitOps and building CI/CD pipelines.

- Extensive knowledge of popular CI/CD tools such as Gitlab, ArgoCD and Tekton and proven experience with deployment and configuration of Kubernetes such as OpenShift.

- Deep knowledge of K8s application deployments, helm charts and K8s operators.

- Excellent Communication and business acumen with great flair of communication, preferably with experience in Sales/Pre-Sales, as the role will involve multiple customer engagements and requirement to talk through use-cases, demos etc.

- Prior working experience with internal teams (Sales/Pre-Sales), towards RFI/RFP creation and deal-closures.

- Experience working on project teams within a defined methodology while adhering to margin, planning and SOW requirements and ability to be onsite during customer workshops and enablement sessions.

- Deep Expertise in Version Control tools like Git, Bitbucket, Artifact Repository tools like Nexus and expertise in Build tools like Jenkins, Bamboo to build re-usable release pipelines, release, and configuration management tools like Chef, Puppet, Ansible, Terraform platforms.

- Deep expertise with RedHat OpenShift and all RedHat related tools stack (RedHat Enterprise Linux, RedHat OpenShift, RedHat Ansible Automation Platform, RedHat OS Virtualization, Advanced Cluster Management for Kubernetes, RedHat Data Grid, RedHat Jboss Enterprise Application Platform, RedHat 3Scale API Management, RedHat Ansible Lightspeed etc.)

- Excellent hands-on knowledge on Jira platform and experience of working on VMware stack like vSphere, vCenter, vRealize Automation Platforms.

Scripting Skills :

- Strong Scripting (e.g. Python, Java, C#) and Automation skills.

- Strong expertise on Cloud Technologies like AWS, Azure or Google Cloud and Pivotal Cloud Foundry, Kubernetes, Dockers.

- The ability to work in a highly efficient team using an Agile methodology such as Scrum or Kanban.

- Ability to have extended pairing sessions with customers, enabling knowledge transfers in complex domains.

Desirable Requirements :

- General awareness of Dell Technologies products. Knowledge of the Nvidia AI tool suite such as Bright Command Manager, NeMo Framework, Triton Inference Server, and others and Deployment knowledge of vendor supported Kubernetes distributions such as OpenShift, Tanzu and Rancher.

- Knowledge of Hyper-V is a plus.

- Experience using Lean and Iterative Deployment Methodologies.

- In possession of the Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) certification will be a definite plus, or any other certifications from RedHat.

- Knowledge of large scale and high-performance cluster management.
