DevOps Engineer - CI/CD Pipeline (8-20 yrs)

Job Title : DevOps Engineer

Job Summary :

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated DevOps Engineer to join our team and drive the design, implementation, and optimization of our CI/CD pipelines, cloud infrastructure, and DevOps practices. The ideal candidate will possess expertise in automation, cloud-native technologies, container orchestration, and DevSecOps principles, with a focus on scalability, reliability, and cost optimization.

Key Responsibilities :

CI/CD Pipelines :

- Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or similar.

- Manage distributed build agents, automate deployment workflows, and ensure secure secrets management and notification systems.

Infrastructure as Code (IaC) :

- Develop and maintain IaC scripts using CloudFormation and Terraform to automate infrastructure provisioning.

- Implement auto-scaling, load balancing, and disaster recovery strategies.

Cloud Infrastructure Management :

- Deploy and optimize AWS services including EC2, S3, RDS, and Lambda.

- Enforce robust IAM policies and ensure adherence to security best practices.

- Monitor and optimize cloud costs.

Containerization & Orchestration :

- Build and maintain Docker images with multi-stage builds, resource limits, and efficient networking.

- Manage Kubernetes clusters for workload orchestration, including deployments, autoscaling, RBAC, and ConfigMaps/Secrets.

- Utilize Helm for chart management and release automation.

Monitoring & Observability :

- Set up and maintain monitoring tools like Prometheus and Grafana to track system health and performance.

- Implement logging solutions for troubleshooting and system visibility.

Networking :

- Configure and manage ingress controllers (NGINX, Traefik) for TLS/SSL termination and advanced routing configurations.

- Support secure networking practices to protect application and data integrity.

Security & Compliance :

- Conduct regular vulnerability scans using tools like Snyk and Trivy.

- Manage secrets securely with Vault or AWS Secrets Manager.

- Implement and enforce RBAC policies and compliance standards.

Key Focus Areas :

- Scalability and reliability of infrastructure and applications.

- Backup and disaster recovery strategies.

- Cost and resource optimization strategies.

Qualifications :

- Strong experience with DevOps tools and practices (Jenkins, GitOps, Terraform, Kubernetes).

- Proficiency in AWS cloud services and infrastructure management.

- Hands-on experience with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes).

- Solid understanding of monitoring, logging, and observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana).

- Familiarity with security tools and practices (Snyk, Trivy, Vault).

- Strong scripting and automation skills in Python, Bash, or similar.

- Experience in networking and ingress management for cloud-based applications.

Preferred Skills :

- Experience with Helm chart creation and management.

- Knowledge of cost optimization tools and strategies for cloud infrastructure.

- Background in DevSecOps integration and secure coding practices.
