Abhiwan Technology - UI/UX Designer - Gaming Industry (2-3 yrs)

Position Overview :

We are seeking a talented and passionate UI/UX Designer to join our dynamic team in the gaming industry.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of user-centered design principles, a creative mindset, and a passion for delivering exceptional gaming experiences.

You will collaborate closely with game designers, developers, and artists to craft visually stunning and user-friendly interfaces that enhance gameplay and immerse players in the game world.

Key Responsibilities :

User Research and Analysis :

- Conduct user research to understand target audiences, their preferences, and pain points.

- Analyze user feedback and gameplay data to identify areas for UI/UX improvement.

Interface Design :

- Design intuitive, visually appealing, and interactive user interfaces for games, including menus, HUDs, and navigation systems.

- Develop wireframes, prototypes, and mockups to communicate design ideas effectively.

- Ensure consistency in visual design across various screens and devices.

User Experience Development :

- Create seamless user flows that enhance player engagement and accessibility.

- Design onboarding and tutorial experiences to guide players effectively.

Collaboration and Communication :

- Work closely with game developers and artists to ensure UI designs are implemented as envisioned.

- Collaborate with product managers and game designers to align UI/UX design with game objectives and branding.

Testing and Iteration :

- Conduct usability testing to gather feedback on prototypes and designs.

- Iterate on designs based on testing and player feedback to improve usability and aesthetics.

Staying Updated :

- Stay abreast of the latest trends, tools, and technologies in UI/UX design and the gaming industry.

- Explore innovative design approaches to push the boundaries of gaming experiences.

Qualifications and Skills :

- Education : Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Interaction Design, Game Design, or a related field.

- Experience : Minimum of 2-5 years of experience in UI/UX design, preferably in the gaming industry.

Technical Skills :

- Proficiency in design tools like Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, Sketch, or similar.

- Familiarity with prototyping tools such as InVision, Marvel, or Axure.

- Knowledge of Unity or Unreal Engine for implementing UI designs (a plus).

Design Skills :

- Strong understanding of typography, color theory, and layout principles.

- Ability to create dynamic animations and transitions for game interfaces.

Soft Skills :

- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

Portfolio :

- A robust portfolio showcasing previous UI/UX designs, particularly in gaming or interactive media.
