UI Designer - Figma/Sketch/Adobe XD (1-3 yrs)

Job Overview :

We are looking for a UI Designer to join our creative team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing user interfaces that are both visually appealing and user-friendly.

You will collaborate closely with Product Managers, UX Designers, and other stakeholders to create intuitive and seamless interactions, ensuring that users have a smooth experience across web and mobile applications. Your design decisions will be backed by a strong understanding of user behavior and the principles of good design.

Responsibilities :

- Design intuitive and visually compelling user interfaces for web and mobile applications.

- Make deliberate design decisions to ensure smooth user interactions based on research and design principles.

- Work closely with Product Managers, UX Designers, and other team members to ensure alignment between design goals, technical requirements, and user needs.

- Create, iterate, and refine wireframes, prototypes, style guides, and user flows to demonstrate interaction ideas, ensuring a consistent user experience across all platforms.

- Present and advocate for design decisions to stakeholders, demonstrating how each choice supports the project's goals, user needs, and business objectives.

- Ensure designs are responsive and optimized for a variety of screen sizes and devices, including mobile, tablet, and desktop.

- Keep yourself informed of the latest trends, tools, and best practices in UI/UX design, implementing innovative techniques and technology where appropriate.

- Conduct usability testing of completed applications, websites, and software to assess and enhance the user experience.

- Gather feedback, identify areas for improvement, and iterate on designs.

- Produce comprehensive design specifications, assets, and documentation to ensure smooth handoff to development teams.

Requirements :

- 1-3 years of experience as a UI Designer or in a related role, with a focus on creating user interfaces for web and mobile applications.

- A strong portfolio showcasing your most recent UI design work.

- The portfolio should include at least 1-2 detailed case studies that demonstrate your design process from concept to final implementation.

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly explain design decisions and collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Technical Skills :

- Proficiency in UI design tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, or InVision.

- Strong knowledge of design systems, including how to create and implement style guides, component libraries, and UI patterns.

- Familiarity with responsive design techniques and ensuring cross-device compatibility.

- Experience with prototyping tools like Marvel, Axure, or Framer.

- Understanding of HTML/CSS (basic knowledge), with the ability to communicate effectively with developers during handoff.

- Experience with design version control (i.e., Abstract, Figma's versioning system) is a plus.

- Basic understanding of JavaScript or familiarity with front-end frameworks such as React or Vue.js is a plus.

- Familiarity with user testing tools such as Lookback.io, Hotjar, or UsabilityHub.

- Understanding of accessibility (WCAG) standards and the ability to design for inclusivity and accessibility
