This role requires working from our local Hyderabad office 2-3x a week.

IT Command Center Analyst

INTRODUCTION

The IT Command Center Analyst plays a key role in supporting a fast-paced technology and software development environment, applying technical knowledge and ITIL practices. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the stability and availability of ABC s critical applications and driving efficiency through value-add automation. You will lead the implementation of IT Service Delivery practices, focusing on environment monitoring, incident management, problem management, and change management, while ensuring effective communication across teams.

Your analytical approach to decision-making, backed by both qualitative and quantitative data, will help drive successful outcomes. This is a highly technical role, requiring strong competencies in service recovery, root cause analysis, and continuous service improvement. The ideal candidate thrives on understanding complex or unfamiliar challenges and is persistent in digging deeper to find innovative solutions. Youll be joining a dynamic team where your contributions will be highly visible, and your work will have a direct impact.

WHAT YOU LL DO:

Incident / Problem Management

Perform technical analysis and drive the restoration of services during major incident events.
Accountable for executing the major incident management process efficiently and effectively.
Coordinate and participate in major incident events, documenting timelines and key milestones.
Track and document all defects and resolutions using the designated ticketing system.
Implement improvements to support the major incident management process.
Train and advise associates on incident management processes.

Communications

Ensure timely and appropriate global communications to senior management, business units, and clients during incidents, keeping them informed of the impact and resolution.
Develop and maintain reporting, metrics, and analysis for IT operations.
Participate in meetings to review problem management items, including post-incident reviews, root cause analysis, and remediation planning.
Act as the point of contact for customers, partners, and internal teams regarding service-impacting issues.

Change Management

Manage all aspects of the change management process.
Prepare for and organize CAB meetings, ensuring changes follow the correct process.
Prioritize change requests, assess their impact, and approve or reject them accordingly.
Support project teams by integrating change management activities into project plans.

Application and Infrastructure Monitoring

Manage the monitoring environment to ensure proper visibility into event and capacity management.
Ensure the end-to-end availability of infrastructure and services, including telecommunications circuits, LAN/WAN systems, routers, firewalls, servers, and core applications.
Compile performance reports and report trends to help predict potential issues or outages.

WHAT YOU LL NEED:

ITIL Foundation v3+ certification or equivalent knowledge.
2+ years of experience in a technology support or operations role preferred.
Experience in incident management and major incident response.
Strong understanding of change management processes.
Excellent communication and analytical skills.
Familiarity with tools such as Grafana, AppDynamics, Jira Service Management, AWS, Azure, SolarWinds, and firewalls (Palo Alto/Cisco) is strongly preferred.
This role involves a rotating shift schedule, which includes morning, afternoon, and night shifts, Monday to Sunday. As a result, your work hours will vary each week
This role requires you to be available for both in-office and remote work

Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build and maintain stakeholder relationships.
Effective time management and organizational skills.

Ability to work with large volumes of data and identify patterns and anomalies.

Working knowledge of SOC and PCI security standards.
