Senior Test Engineer - Automation

This role requires working from our local Hyderabad office 2-3x a week.

What you will do:

As a test automation engineer at ABC Glofox you will work with all our product development teams to enable fast, effective feedback on every change as it moves through our pipelines towards Production by:

• Providing coaching and guidance on test automation approaches and practices across the department

• Building test automation skills and knowledge across the product development teams for both our developers and testers

• Maintaining and extending our end-to-end test automation framework

• Introducing innovative solutions to important testing challenges

• Promoting the importance of test automation and pipeline health in the product development teams

• Advocating and supporting the inclusion of test automation as part of every release

What you will need:

• Five or more years of demonstrable hands-on experience in working with test automation frameworks like Selenium, Webdriver.io and Jest

• Have a holistic understanding of testing techniques, approaches, and modern means for risk mitigation

• Good knowledge of object-oriented programming languages; our test framework is built in JavaScript

• Strong practical knowledge of CI/CD tooling, containerization and good practices

• Experience in designing and developing end-to-end API and browser tests for technically complex systems

• Strong problem-solving skills

• Excellent communication and influencing skills

• Be team-oriented and collaborative
