Job Title: Chief Financial Officer

Location: Bangalore

Reports to : Chairman

Position Summary:

Overall Responsibility:

- The CFO is responsible for reporting results, analyzing identifying opportunities and work with the chairman to achieve the financial targets.

- Main financial KPIs and Elaborate the Strategic Plan for India.

- Supervisory/Managerial: The CFO will be responsible for entire finance & accounts functions including taxation, banking, audits, controls, reporting, statutory and compliance, capex, and project controls, decision support in leading growth of the business across India.

Essential Functions and Duties:

- Provide Leadership in Business Planning / Accounting / Budgeting Processes

- Administer the monthly accounting and tax results.

- Manage the treasury needs to secure proper resources to successfully meet pre-approved company plans

- Monitor the internal control compliances.

- Supervise Finance department including the payroll, tax, accounting, and treasury functions

- Responsible for royalties and marketing funds.

- Responsible for new project sign off to meet financial criteria

- Take hands-on lead position of developing, implementing and maintaining a comprehensive ERP system and drive technology and digitization program across the business.

- Develop Internal Control Policies/ Guidelines/ procedures for Budget Administration / cash and credit Management / accounting

- Strong oversight of inventory to minimize shrinkage

- Serve as Management Liasion to the board and Audit Committee

- Maintain MIS / Business Scorecard and Board Deck and lead the business discussion in various forums.

- Represent the organisation externally as necessary particularly in Banking / Investors etc

- Monitoring cash flow and forecast with specific focus on working capital management.

- Responsible for complete tax planning, tax compliance and monitoring other taxation issues for the company.

Future IPO:

- Develop a proper understanding of the IPO requirements and lead to a successful IPO

- Active participation in board meetings and dealing with investors

Qualifications:

- Chartered Accountant or equivalent qualification

- 22-28 years of field related experience

Skills:

- Has in-depth expertise in the accounting, finance, tax, treasury, and collections functions, knowledge of finance policies, and broad business knowledge

- Applies expertise to achieve operational and/or financial objectives.

- Applies advanced level knowledge of SAP and Hyperion to report monthly financial results

- Identifies and resolves complex problems that have financial implications.

- Develops, plans, and coordinates resources to meet operational objectives.

Understanding of Malyalam / Tamil as a language would be a preference
