Vice President - Offline Sales
Reporting to: MD India
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Plan, direct and implement Sales strategies and programs to achieve top line and bottom line across all verticals.
- Develops and implements the short term and long term sales strategies for increase in market share and profitability on sustainable basis in line with annual business plan clearly outlining top-lines, bottom-lines, market share and cost objectives.
- Drive the national sales plan across all offline verticals.
- Develops & controls an efficient distribution network to ensure adequate customer servicing within laid down credit policies & other stipulated norms.
- Planning & Budgeting for Sales Targets.
- Create a preferred Customer brand and to ensure adequate customer support.
- Build and sustain the distribution channel for effectively ensuring last mile reach of products.
- To coordinate with internal stake holders effectively such as sourcing/planning/manufacturing/packaging to ensure supply of products on time.
- To understand the profile of the competitor and position our products in the market.
- Participate in Business Plan and execute the strategy to expand customer base.
- Develop and manage sales budgets, and oversee the development and management of internal operating budgets.
- Build, sustain and grow entire Sales team and ensure smooth functioning by improving the engagement level of the sales team.
- Compile, analyse and present data on competition and the business environment.
- Develop and maintain an efficient distribution network to ensure the comprehensive availability of company's products and services to achieve or exceed the sales targets.
- Establish and ensure that all sales administration procedures are properly implemented to support the sales teams in their efforts to accomplish the sales targets.
- Analyze how brand is positioned in the market and crystallize targeted consumer's insights.
- Monitor market trends, research consumer markets and competitors' activities to identify opportunities and key issues.
- Monitor product distribution and consumer reactions.
- Promote positive relations with partners, vendors, and distributors.
