ABC Consultants has been retained by a premium International university to assist with the hire of key roles for their subsidiary in India that will be supporting its engagement in India including its prestigious India focused Global Centre in New Delhi.
The university aims to deepen engagement and explore opportunities for partnerships and collaboration across teaching, research and the community and will showcase its extensive educational capabilities, its cutting-edge research and research translation, and its public engagement.
Position - Finance Manager
Location - Delhi
Responsibilities:
- Maintaining the financial operations of the company
- Completion and filing of relevant statutory reporting and compliances including periodic TDS, GST, and annual tax returns etc.
- Regular management accounting and financial reporting including all appropriate and necessary financial reports as required
- Managing audits including the finalization of annual statutory accounts.
- All tasks of company secretary as statutorily required under the Companies Act, 2013 and Companies Rules, 2014
Qualifications & Skills:
- Graduate in accounting/business with minimum 5 years of general business management experience at senior level
- Qualified Company Secretary (ACS) with membership of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI), and qualified Chartered Accountant.
- Strong knowledge of the Companies Act, SEBI regulations, and other relevant corporate laws and regulations.
- Experience with all aspects of financial management and compliance
- Strong financial and strategic analytical mindset
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
