Position Overview
The Sales Head will lead Steelbazaar's sales strategy, driving revenue growth through effective customer acquisition, vendor onboarding, and strategic partnerships. This role will oversee the sales team, implement data-driven sales processes, and ensure the achievement of short-term and long-term business objectives in the steel industry.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to meet revenue and growth targets.
Identify key markets, segments, and opportunities for expansion, including international trade.
Collaborate with marketing to align campaigns with sales objectives.
Build, train, and mentor a high-performing sales team.
Set clear goals, KPIs, and incentive structures for team members.
Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback.
Drive customer acquisition by targeting buyers (corporates, SMEs) across the steel supply chain.
Lead vendor onboarding efforts to expand Steelbazaars marketplace offerings.
Develop long-term relationships with key customers and vendors to foster loyalty.
Monitor and manage the sales funnel to ensure consistent pipeline growth.
Optimize revenue streams through innovative solutions, such as auctions, procurement tools, and financing services.
Implement strategies to upsell and cross-sell Steelbazaars digital and value-added services.
Stay updated on market trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs in the steel industry.
Provide feedback to product and marketing teams to enhance offerings and align with market demand.
Leverage CRM tools and analytics to monitor sales performance and customer interactions.
Use data insights to refine strategies and improve sales outcomes.

Education
Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field. MBA preferred.
