Deputy Manager - Project

Role & responsibilities: -

• Work allocation to contractors.
• Day-to-day planning/ feasibility survey and execution of the projects to meet annual business plans and company targets.
• Ensuring smooth execution of sites, monitoring of progress and work quality. Handling local issues if any; coordinating with local authorities.
• To supervise & manage all laying, testing & commissioning related activities of pipelines.
• Commissioning of Steel/ MDPE pipelines and connection to I&C customers and domestic customers.
• Measurement / Certification & Billing related works.
• To ensure adherence to the policies and guidelines of PNGRB.
• Resolution of CRM complaints at the site and updation on the portal.
• Data updation/ approval on Portal.
• Well-versed with applicable codes and standards (OISD, API, ASME, ASTM etc.).
• Contract Management and closures.
• Prepare inspection reports and documentation to report findings and recommendations for corrective actions.
• Compliance and Regulation: Ensure that, all inspections adhere to industry standards, codes, and regulatory requirements. Stay updated on changes in relevant regulations and standards to maintain compliance.
• Quality Assurance and Quality Control.
• Safety Assurance: Monitor safety protocols and procedures to ensure they are followed, identifying potential hazards, and suggesting improvements.
• Have a good understanding of safety and quality requirements for NG Pipelines.
• Preparation of approval notes, TBA, BOQ and SOR as per scope of work related to PE and steel pipeline material + works.
• Sound communication skills.
• Knowledge of HDD/ Auger Boring and other various methods of pipeline laying works.
• Knowledge of Material inspection/ QAP/ SOPs related to steel and PE pipeline works.
• Basic knowledge of cathodic protection.
• Basic knowledge of PESO applications and requirements.
• Any other task assigned by the company.

Minimum Experience: - 04-year post qualification inline experience in Oil & Gas Steel pipeline projects.

Essential Qualifications:

Full-time B.E./B.Tech. degree in any branch of engineering with 60% Marks or CGPA of 6 On 10 Point Scale or 3 on 6 Point Scale.

Desirable Qualifications:

ASNT NDT Level-II certification in various NDT techniques. Experience in PE project (CGD).

Min. Fixed Salary - Rs. 10.80*

* 20% variable salary will be paid annually over and above the minimum fixed CTC, subject to individual & company performance as per the prevailing policy of AGL.

* Up to a 40% hike on the current Fix salary may be given to outstanding candidates depending on his/her performance during the Interview.
