Procurement - Lead / Sr Buyer ** EMS Industry Only **

The Ideal Candidate Is Responsible For Developing And Implementing A Sourcing & Procurement Strategy To Ensure Reduction Of Lead Times As Per Project Needs, With Cost Savings , Reduces Inventory, And Maximizes Customer Satisfaction Through World Class Service.

Overall Responsibilities

• Coordinate With Cft Teams For On Time Closure Of Documents Includes Drawings ,Engineering Bom, Costing Files Etc.,
• Sourcing & Procurement From Right Suppliers At Right Price With Best Quality , On Time Delivery & Service.
• Build Strong Relationships With Suppliers, Ensuring Continuous Long-Term Partnership To Support On Critical Needs.
• Oversee All Purchase Orders, Adjust Purchase Patterns, And Monitor Shipment and Production Schedules To Meet Responsibilities.
• Evaluate Vendor Performance To Ensure Lowest Cost, Highest Quality and Timely Deliveries.

Role & responsibilities

• Having worked with Major Distributors for Electronic Components
• Research for potential vendors as per BOM /MPN.
• Verifying the customer billing plans & forecasts and initiating procurement actions.
• Preparation of procurement plan with strategy for placing orders and receipt of materials in line with billing plans & production flow.
• Compare and evaluate offers from suppliers to arrive at best rate, lead time.
• Negotiate contract terms of agreement and pricing for longer terms.
• Ensure the release of purchase orders to vendors as per plan.
• Track orders and ensure timely delivery.
• Scout for opportunities for cost reduction with landing price and ensuring cost savings against costing price , project to project.
• Vendor performance monitoring and rating through Audits.
• Implementing ISO /QMS systems in the department and updating as per department ISO procedures.
• Maintain updated records of purchased products, delivery information and invoices
• Prepare reports on purchases, including cost analysis, savings against budget for item to item & project to project.
• Monitor stock levels and place orders as needed.
• Alternate supplier development.
• Ontime planning and release of orders to as per lead times to work on reducing the leadtimes.
• Coordinate with stores staff to ensure proper storage
• Attend trade shows and exhibitions to stay up to date with industry trends by connecting with new manufacturers & Suppliers.
