Site Supervisor

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervision & Monitoring: Oversee all on-site construction activities, ensuring compliance with project plans, specifications, and safety regulations.
• Interpretation of Construction Drawings: Review and interpret construction drawings to ensure accurate implementation of designs on-site.
• Quality Control: Ensure that all work is completed to the required quality standards and that any issues are promptly addressed.
• Team Coordination: Manage and coordinate the activities of subcontractors, laborers, and other site staff, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and safely.
• Daily & Weekly Reports: Maintain accurate and up-to-date reports, including daily and weekly progress reports, site logs, and work completed.
• Safety Compliance: Enforce strict adherence to health and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment for all team members.
• Problem Solving: Address any on-site issues, such as delays or technical problems, and collaborate with the project manager to resolve them in a timely manner.
• Material & Equipment Management: Assist in tracking and managing construction materials and equipment to ensure timely availability and proper use on-site.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3-4 years of experience in construction site supervision or a related role.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and building codes.
• Proficient in reading and interpreting construction drawings and blueprints.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and time management skills.
• Ability to lead and coordinate a team effectively.
• Experience with daily and weekly reporting and documentation.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
• Knowledge of health and safety standards and regulations in the construction industry.
• Proficient in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word) and construction management software is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certification in construction safety (OSHA or equivalent).
• Familiarity with project management software (e.g., Procore, Buildertrend).
