Concrete Batching Plant Specialist

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Concrete Specialist RMC Plant Engineer to oversee the production, quality control, and maintenance of our Ready-Mix Concrete (RMC) plant operations. The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of concrete mix designs, plant equipment, and quality assurance practices to ensure efficient and high-quality concrete production.

Key Responsibilities:

Production & Operations:

• Supervise and manage daily operations of the RMC plant.
• Ensure continuous production of high-quality concrete as per project specifications.
• Optimize batching processes to enhance efficiency and minimize waste.

Concrete Mix Design & Quality Control:

• Develop and modify concrete mix designs based on project requirements.
• Conduct regular quality checks on raw materials (cement, aggregates, admixtures) and finished concrete.
• Implement quality control measures to ensure compliance with IS codes and industry standards.
• Monitor concrete performance and troubleshoot any issues related to workability, strength, and durability.

Equipment Maintenance & Safety:

• Ensure proper maintenance and calibration of batching plant equipment and machinery.
• Schedule preventive maintenance and coordinate with the maintenance team for repairs.
• Enforce safety protocols and conduct routine inspections to ensure a safe working environment.

Logistics & Coordination:

• Plan and schedule concrete production based on project demands.
• Coordinate with site engineers, project managers, and logistics teams to ensure timely delivery.
• Maintain inventory of raw materials and manage procurement activities.

Documentation & Compliance:

• Maintain production records, quality reports, and test results.
• Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and industry standards.
• Prepare reports for management and participate in audits.

Qualifications & Requirements:

Education: Diploma / B.Tech / B.E in Civil Engineering or related field.
Experience: Minimum [X] years of experience in RMC plant operations.
Technical Skills:

• Knowledge of concrete mix designs, IS standards (IS 456, IS 10262), and quality control procedures.
• Hands-on experience with batching plant operations, automation systems, and plant equipment.
• Ability to interpret test reports (slump, compressive strength, etc.).
• Soft Skills: Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
• Certifications: Additional certifications in concrete technology (optional but preferred).
