Assistant Manager Content

Key Responsibilities:

1. Content Strategy & Planning:
• Develop and implement content strategies aligned with business goals and target audience needs.
• Conduct content audits to identify gaps, optimize existing content, and ensure alignment with SEO best practices.
2. Content Creation & Management:
• Plan, write, edit, and publish compelling content (articles, blogs, website copy, and more) tailored to various platforms.
• Manage and maintain content repositories, ensuring all materials are accurate and up-to-date.
• Create workflows and processes to streamline content updates across departments.
3. Content Management Systems (CMS):
• Manage and maintain content on CMS platforms like WordPress, Drupal, or similar tools.
• Collaborate with developers and IT teams to resolve CMS-related issues and optimize functionality.
• Provide training to team members on CMS usage and content management processes.
4. SEO Optimization:
• Use SEO tools (e.g., SEMrush, Ahrefs, Moz) to perform keyword research, monitor rankings, and optimize content.
• Ensure all content is SEO-friendly with proper keywords, meta tags, and internal linking structures.
• Stay updated on SEO trends and algorithm changes to refine strategies.
5. Performance Analytics:
• Leverage analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, SEMrush, HubSpot) to monitor content performance and user engagement.
• Generate actionable insights from data to improve content strategies and ROI.
• Create performance reports to share results and recommendations with stakeholders.
6. Brand Consistency:
• Ensure all content aligns with brand guidelines, tone of voice, and style.
• Maintain consistency and high quality across all platforms and channels.
7. Collaboration:
• Work closely with marketing, design, and product teams to ensure content supports overall business objectives.
• Collaborate with external freelancers, agencies, and content creators as required.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
• Experience: 1-3 years of experience in content management, SEO, or related roles.
• Proficiency in CMS platforms like WordPress, Drupal, or Joomla.
• Expertise in SEO tools such as SEMrush, Ahrefs, or Moz for keyword research, site audits, and performance tracking.
• Strong understanding of content marketing and website optimization techniques.
• Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS is a plus.
• Experience with analytics tools like Google Analytics, HubSpot, or similar platforms.
• Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills with attention to detail.
• Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., Trello, Asana) is a bonus.
