Training Manager

We are 99 Pancakes A QSR (Quick Service Restaurant) looking for Training Manager.

He/She is responsible for designing, delivering, and evaluating training programs for restaurant staff, focusing on operational efficiency, customer service standards, product knowledge, and food safety procedures within a fast-paced environment, ensuring employees are well-equipped to perform their roles effectively and consistently meet company standards; key duties include onboarding new hires, conducting ongoing training sessions on new menu items, cash handling, POS systems, and upholding hygiene practices.

Key responsibilities of a QSR trainer:

• Curriculum Development:
• Create and update comprehensive training materials based on company policies, new product launches, and operational changes.
• Design training modules for different employee levels (crew members, shift leaders, managers).
• Develop training outlines for onboarding, product knowledge, customer service, food safety, and POS systems.
• Training Delivery:
• Conduct in-person training sessions for new hires and ongoing staff development.
• Facilitate hands-on training on food preparation, quality control, and proper food handling techniques.
• Deliver training on customer service standards, including greeting customers, suggestive selling, and resolving complaints.
• Teach proper cash handling procedures and POS system operation.
• Performance Evaluation:
• Monitor employee performance on the job to identify areas for improvement.
• Conduct regular evaluations to track training effectiveness and identify training gaps.
• Provide feedback and coaching to employees to enhance their skills and performance.
• Compliance Management:
• Ensure adherence to all food safety regulations and company standards.
• Conduct regular safety training sessions to maintain a safe working environment.
• Collaboration:
• Work closely with restaurant managers and shift leaders to identify training needs and address specific operational challenges.
• Collaborate with the training team to develop and implement new training initiatives.
