Key Responsibilities :
AEM Development :
- Design, develop, and maintain customized AEM components, templates, and workflows.
- Build and integrate AEM solutions with third-party tools, CRMs, and databases to enhance platform functionality.
- Develop robust back-end functionality using Java, JSP, and OSGi services.
Collaboration and User Experience :
- Collaborate with front-end developers and designers to deliver efficient, user-friendly interfaces.
- Ensure seamless rendering of content across various devices and platforms using HTL (formerly Sightly) and Sling models.
Performance Optimization and Troubleshooting :
- Identify and resolve issues affecting AEM performance and scalability.
- Optimize workflows and content delivery to enhance the user experience.
Best Practices and Quality Assurance :
- Follow AEM best practices for security, scalability, and maintainability.
- Conduct unit testing, integration testing, and debugging to ensure high-quality deliverables.
Project Participation :
- Participate in requirement analysis, project planning, and status updates.
- Contribute expertise and insights to improve project execution and outcomes.
Technical Qualifications :
- AEM Expertise : Strong hands-on experience with Adobe Experience Manager, including working with content repositories like JCR and tools such as Apache Jackrabbit.
Programming Knowledge :
- Proficiency in Java and JSP for developing custom AEM components.
- Experience with OSGi services, Sling Servlet, and building tools like Maven.
Front-End Development :
- Knowledge of front-end technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and client-side libraries like jQuery.
- Version Control : Familiarity with Git for version control and collaboration.
- Development Practices : Experience working in an Agile development environment.
Educational and Professional Requirements :
- Experience : 3+ years of professional experience in AEM development or a related field.
- Education : A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline is preferred, or equivalent work experience.
