Role Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented Area Sales Manager to join our dynamic sales team.
In this role, you will be responsible for driving sales growth within a specific geographical region by developing and executing effective sales strategies, building strong customer relationships, and exceeding sales targets.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Strategy & Planning:
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans, policies, and budgets for the assigned region.
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify new business opportunities and optimize sales strategies.
Customer Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key customers within the assigned region.
- Understand customer needs and provide tailored solutions to meet their specific requirements.
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
Sales Execution:
- Generate leads through various channels, including website, conferences, exhibitions, and market research.
- Manage the entire sales cycle, from lead qualification and opportunity identification to negotiation and closing deals.
- Achieve and exceed assigned sales targets consistently.
Order Management & Fulfillment:
- Collect at least 75% of outstanding payments from customers each month.
- Ensure timely and accurate delivery of orders to customers.
- Provide all necessary documentation to customers, including MOA, COA, certificates, dispatch details, and outstanding invoices.
Market & Competitive Analysis:
- Monitor competitor pricing and activities within the assigned region.
- Gather market intelligence and provide feedback to the sales and marketing teams.
Customer Data Management:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer databases for the assigned region.
- Track key customer data, including order history, purchase behavior, and customer satisfaction.
Sample Management:
- Provide timely and accurate samples to customers based on their specific requirements.
- Obtain timely and accurate feedback from customers on samples provided.
Coordination & Communication:
- Coordinate all sample and delivery requests through the designated sales coordination channel.
- Maintain open and effective communication with internal and external stakeholders.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
Experience: 2-4 years of proven success in a sales role, preferably in the FMCG sector.
