Position Description: About the Role

We are seeking a Zonal Head for Design & Setup (South Zone), who is well-versed in all phases of the building process, from due diligence and schematic design to construction administration and delivering interior fitouts for both existing & future hubs. This role offers a great opportunity for an individual looking to influence the creation of facilities over time, with a passion for designing scalable, innovative spaces that redefine the modern workspace.

The Zonal Head will oversee multiple projects from start to finish, collaborating with internal teams in Real Estate, Construction Management, Design, Facilities, Procurement, and Operations, as well as inter-departmental groups. Externally, the Zonal Head will work closely with hired consultants, including Principal Architects, MEP Engineers, Structural Engineers, Local Architects, and General Contractors (GCs) or Design & build contractors.

The ideal candidate will ensure the successful execution of the vision to the highest standards, aligning with the clients creative and business objectives. A seasoned construction professional with deep industry management experience, the Zonal Head will lead multiple interior fit-out projects in collaboration with both internal and external teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure adherence to project budgets, timelines, site safety standards, and compliance.
• Monitor and report progress across multiple sites, prioritizing critical project needs.
• Oversee constructability and coordination across all projects to ensure efficient project delivery.
• Develop and maintain internal pre-construction advisory standards to ensure all projects are set up for success.
• Ensure that construction professionals address critical path decisions and construction methods to maintain schedule, budget, safety, and quality.
• Conduct regular construction site visits across active projects.
• Build and maintain regional partnerships with Principal Architects, Zonal Architects, General Contractors, major subcontractors, and key suppliers/vendors.
• Maintain accountability for project execution, including reporting, risk analysis, fiscal health, quality, safety, and timely completion.
• Facilitate communication among Enterprise project teams, including Design, Project Management, Operations, and Logistics.
• Regularly communicate project status, potential site issues, and changes in schedule or budget to upper management and the project team.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives and best practices within project teams. Ensure all internal and external stakeholders have the most up-to-date project data.
• Identify and address process issues that impact project teams.

Qualifications, Education & Experience:

• Bachelor's Degree in Architecture, Engineering, or Construction Management
• 10-12 years of experience in Architecture, Engineering, or Construction, with a focus on construction technology
• Proven experience in commercial fit-outs, high-end retail, hospitality, or similar projects
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with prompt follow-up
• Familiarity with project planning, tracking, and coordination
• Knowledge of integrated architectural practices, clash detection, quantity take-off, and drawing production
• Solid understanding of project delivery methods and construction techniques relevant to the region of work
• Experience in on-site risk assessment
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Highly resourceful problem solver with the ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a fast-paced, collaborative team environment
