Responsibilities :

As a Senior Lansa Developer, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining enterprise-grade applications using Lansa.

- Your expertise will drive critical projects while ensuring the delivery of high-quality solutions.

- Application Development : Design, develop, and deploy robust applications using Lansa (Visual Lansa, RDML, RDMLX) for enterprise environments.

- Solution Architecture : Define system architecture, including data modeling, system integrations, and workflows, ensuring alignment with business requirements.

- Legacy Systems Modernization : Lead efforts to modernize existing legacy systems and migrate them to modern Lansa frameworks.

- Performance Optimization : Analyze, debug, and resolve performance issues, ensuring high system reliability and efficiency.

- Mentorship : Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers, fostering a collaborative and learning-focused team environment.

- Stakeholder Communication : Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, project managers, and end-users, to gather requirements and deliver tailored solutions.

- Integration : Develop seamless integrations between Lansa and external systems (e.g, APIs, ERPs, databases).

- Documentation : Prepare and maintain detailed technical documentation for developed solutions, processes, and workflows.

- Quality Assurance : Ensure adherence to coding standards, best practices, and perform regular code reviews.

Qualifications :

Technical Expertise :

- 5+ years of experience with Lansa (Visual Lansa, RDML/RDMLX).

- Strong knowledge of database management systems, particularly IBM i (AS/400) and SQL.

- Experience with web-enablement of Lansa applications (e.g, Lansa for the Web).

- Familiarity with Lansa Integrator and Lansa Composer.

- Proficiency in building and consuming APIs (REST/SOAP).

Additional Skills :

- Solid programming skills in languages like JavaScript, HTML/CSS, or similar technologies for modernizing Lansa applications.

- Understanding of cloud platforms (e.g, AWS, Azure) and deployment practices.

- Experience in agile development methodologies.

Soft Skills :

- Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.

- Strong communication skills to interact with stakeholders and explain technical concepts.

- Proven ability to work independently and lead complex projects
