Job Description
- Leading the Technical Reporting team to provide end-to-end data and analytics solutions and acting as Product Owner setting strategic direction, prioritization, resource deployment, and project planning to ensure team delivers efficient, high-value solutions to the business.
- Driving global tool adoption, standardization and establishing best practices to deliver transformation.
- Overseeing finance dataset ingestion into Snowflake and managing development teams to deliver robust, client-focused reporting solutions.
- Engaging cross functionally with Treasury, Tax, Business Finance, Manufacturing, Data Intelligence and IT across several global locations.
- Identifying and implementing optimization and process improvements to increase efficiency.
- Developing direct report analysts to become future leaders.
Your Skills and Expertise
To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:
- Bachelor s degree or higher from an accredited institution (completed and verified prior to start)
- Five (5) years of experience in Finance, Accounting, Information Technology, FPA, Reporting Analytics, or Data Analytics in a private, public, government or military environment
Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:
- Advanced degree or professional certification (e.g., CFA, CPA) are a plus
- Strong understanding of Finance Accounting practices and policies
- Ability to translate and articulate business needs into tangible, data-based solutions
- Extensive knowledge of Finance (RTR) datasets, sources, and security models
- Experience with SQL and working knowledge of query and data warehouse design
- Knowledge of Scrum methodology and Agile principles
- Proficient with Snowflake warehouse functions with ability to trace diagnose datasets
- Growth-focused mindset on emerging technologies and capabilities to drive transformation
- Working knowledge of ETL methodologies and exposure to Informatica
