Job Description for Project Engineer, Mechatronics Lab

• Education: BE/ B. Tech or ME/ M. Tech in Mechanical/ Electrical or any other related stream.
• Job Related Experience: Minimum 2-3 years of Industrial experience and 1 year of teaching Experience in related fields.
• Skillset: Knowledge of Electrical components like Sensors, switches, Measuring devices, DC motors and control circuits (direction control/speed control), Step motors, Speed control variable frequency drives, Knowledge of Mechanical components like Chain, belt, and gear drives, Bushings, bearings, and gearboxes, Clutches and brakes, Conveyor belts, lifts, chutes, and component storage, Grippers, jaws, and pivot devices Fasteners, supports, and springs. Knowledge of Pneumatic Component like Pneumatic/hydraulic components

Roles and Responsibilities

• Design and develop mechatronics training programs for students.
  
• Conduct practical sessions on robot programming using TIA Portal, Ladder Logic, EMI diagramming, and troubleshooting.
  
• Create engaging lectures and tutorials to teach mechatronics concepts to students.
  
• Develop assessment materials and evaluate student performance through quizzes, tests, and projects.
  
• Collaborate with colleagues to improve curriculum design and delivery.
