Position Objectives:

• Ensure timely shipment and delivery by monitoring order status, space allocation, and vessel schedules.
• Serve as the key contact for all logistics-related matters, both internally and externally.
• Liaise with buyers, International forwarders, suppliers, and factories in India & International to ensure smooth logistics operations.
• Track, prepare, and submit accurate shipping documents in a timely manner.
  Coach and share logistics knowledge with the sourcing and merchandising teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Logistics Coordination & Shipment Management
• Act as the main liaison for logistics between head office, suppliers, and factories.
• Manage International forwarders and courier partners, ensuring optimal performance.
• Educate and guide new suppliers on logistics processes and systems.
• Track shipments and ensure on-time delivery.
• Maintain accurate order information in internal logistics systems.
• Proactively coordinate with internal and external teams to resolve logistics issues.
• Analysis & Reporting
• Monitor and report logistics-related issues to internal teams and customers.
• Verify and submit all post-shipment documents on time.
• Secure written approvals on costings from relevant stakeholders.
• Administration & Compliance
• Oversee shipment and courier status.
• Ensure compliance with trade regulations, customs procedures, and documentation requirements.

Key Targets & Expectations:

• Efficient coordination of ocean and air shipments.
• Monitoring and managing FCL/LCL/Air Cargo/Courier shipments.
• Handling logistics issues such as booking, documentation, certification, and

space allocation.

• Ensuring logistics processes align with SOPs.
• Providing regular updates on Indias market, vessel schedules, and port status.
• Implementing process improvements for logistics efficiency.
• Utilizing data analysis to enhance logistics operations.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management, Transport & Logistics, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant logistics experience (experience in the sourcing industry is a plus).
• Strong knowledge of trade declarations, shipping procedures, air/ocean freight, and customs regulations.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).Fluent in spoken and written English.
• Hardworking, detail-oriented, and capable of handling pressure.
• Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills.Open, polite communicator with internal and external stakeholders.
• A team player who can work independently, is self-motivated, and proactive.
