Senior Site Engineer

JobSummary
The Senior Site Engineer is responsible for supervising and coordinating on-site construction
activities, ensuring that projects are executed as per design specifications, quality standards, and
timelines. This role also involves preparing material estimations, Bills of Quantities (BOQs), work-
done reports, and measurement sheets while ensuring effective communication between on-site
teams and management.

KeyResponsibilities
1. Site Supervision and Execution
o Oversee daily construction activities to ensure they align with project plans, drawings,
and specifications.
o Monitor labour and subcontractor performance, ensuring tasks are completed on
schedule.
o Conduct regular site inspections to maintain quality and resolve on-site issues.
2. Material Estimation and BOQ Preparation
o Accurately calculate material requirements based on project drawings and
specifications.
o Assist in preparing Bills of Quantities (BOQs) for procurement and project planning.
o Monitor material usage and inventory, ensuring proper allocation and minimizing
wastage.
3. Documentation and Reporting
o Prepare and verify work-done reports and measurement sheets for billing and
progress tracking.
o Maintain accurate records of site activities, material usage, and labor deployment.
o Submit daily and weekly progress reports to the Construction Manager or Project
Manager.
4. Quality Controland Compliance
o Ensure construction activities comply with quality standards, design specifications,
and codes.
o Perform regular checks to identify and rectify quality issues promptly.
5. Health,Safety, and Environment (HSE)
o Enforce safety protocols on-site and ensure compliance with HSE regulations.
o Conduct toolbox talks and safety briefings to promote a safe working environment.
6. Coordination and Communication
o Collaborate with subcontractors, suppliers, and other team members to ensure
smooth project execution.
o Communicate site requirements and challenges to the Construction Manager or
Project Manager.
o Facilitate coordination between design, procurement, and on-site teams.

RequiredQualifications

EducationalBackground
Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering .

• Diploma holders with substantial experience may also be considered.
• Experience Minimum 710 years of experience in site supervision, preferably in Plotted development,residential, and high-rise construction projects. Hands-on experience in material estimation, BOQ preparation, and site management.
• Skills Proficient with using AutoCAD. Checking levels of equipment for road construction in plotted development in hilly areas. Proficient in construction methodologies, quality control, and material management. Strong ability to prepare and verify work-done reports and measurement sheets. Proficient in project management and site documentation tools. Excellent organizational, leadership, and problem-solving skills. Sound knowledge of safety and environmental regulations.

Quality compliance and minimal rework on assigned tasks. Effective team coordination and communication.
• Working Conditions: Full-time role based primarily on the construction site. May require extended hours or weekend work based on project demands.
