Job Description

SUMMARY

This position will have core responsibility for merchant contract execution and key part of the Pricing & Contract Management workstream within India. Be the focal point for Merchant Bulk, Package Gases, Speciality Gases and Healthcare Business contracts and provide different types of reports for business analysis.

Location - Bangalore

Qualifications -

A bachelor’s degree in Commerce/Economics/ Law from tier 2 colleges would be preferred
3 years + experience in marketing / legal in another related role.
Excellent understanding of the business agreements
Experience of operating within a matrix organisation highly advantageous

This position will have core responsibility for merchant contract execution and key part of the Pricing &

Contract Management workstream within India. Be the focal point for Merchant Bulk, Package Gases,

Speciality Gases and Healthcare Business contracts and provide different types of reports for business

analysis.

Responsible for drafting and engaging in discussion for new/renewal contracts with sales, understand

expectations and optimise suitably within the boundaries of Pricing Policy

Work with the Regional Business Teams to understand customer requirements as well as Linde’s internal

policies and interests to draft high quality merchant contracts

Maintaining monthly repository of contracts which are under discussion, coordinate between sales and

legal teams to ensure contracts are signed on time. Track signing status of the same with sales team.

Work closely on pricing projects by providing relevant contract information for entitlement recovery

Identify improvement areas in current standard draft contract templates and ensure timely updation of

templates in portal.

To identify gaps between agreed clauses in contracts and execution of same. Any gap in recovering

agreed commercial clauses should be highlighted to Pricing Manager as and when applicable.

Monitoring and ensuring procedural discipline throughout the MPG contract cycle

To familiarize workflow and backend data in CMT to be able to furnish various reports for analysis

To automate manual process in Contract management by quick identification and implementation to

enhance productivity and eliminate errors
