Roles and Responsibilities:
- Operational Support: Execute procurement-related tasks for F&B requirements as assigned by the Specialist-Contract Management.
- Act as the single point of contact (SPOC) for daily operations with the F&B service provider.
- Cross-Functional Coordination: Collaborate with Procurement & Supply Chain (P&SC) to ensure timely execution of tenders.
- Provide support to the Specialist in defining F&B specifications like menu grids, meal ratios, and service requirements for optimal procurement solutions.
- F&B Service Provider Management: Assist the Specialist in planning and executing RFX (Request for Proposal/Quote) activities that align with the F&B Strategy and procurement goals.
- Conduct basic market research to identify potential F&B service providers and benchmark services against industry standards.
- Supplier Relationship Management: Support relationship building with F&B service providers and the wider business community.
- Assist during negotiation planning and provide necessary documentation and support to the Pricing and Contracts team.
- Contract Coordination: Assist in the execution, renewal, and termination of contracts with F&B service providers.
- Prepare periodic reports, negotiation comparatives, and monthly reviews to keep the team updated on contract activities.
- Additional Duties: Support other duties as delegated by the Specialist to ensure smooth contract management operations.
Skill Required:
- Industry Expertise: Strong knowledge of culinary operations, commercials, and F&B management.
- Analytical and Negotiation Skills: Proficient in conducting market research, benchmarking, and supporting negotiation efforts.
- Stakeholder and People Management: Demonstrated ability to manage relationships with internal teams and suppliers.
- Technical Proficiency: Advanced skills in Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel, with knowledge of business intelligence tools and dashboard reporting.
Qualifications:
Education: Diploma or Bachelor's degree /masterin Hotel Management, Statistics, Commerce, Operations Management, or related field.
Experience: Minimum of 3 years as a financial analyst with an F&B background, preferably in aviation or hotels.
Strong analytical and reporting skills with experience in Microsoft Suite and business intelligence tools.
Key Performance Indicators:
- Reporting Management: Effectiveness in coordinating RFX activities, quality of market research, and accuracy of assigned tasks.
- Support in Negotiations: Timely and effective assistance during supplier negotiations.
- People Management: Training and capability building for team members
