Position Overview :

We are looking for a skilled Automation Test Engineer with 1 to 4 years of experience in test automation, script development, and framework maintenance.

The ideal candidate should have expertise in Java, Selenium WebDriver, and API testing, along with experience working in CI/CD environments.

Key Responsibilities :

- Test Script Creation & Execution : Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts to ensure the quality of web applications and APIs.

- Bug Reporting & Collaboration : Identify, document, and report bugs/issues; collaborate with development teams to prioritize and address them.

- Automation Framework Maintenance : Maintain and enhance the existing test automation framework to accommodate changes in the product.

- Continuous Improvement : Drive the adoption of best practices and enhance automation strategies to improve testing efficiency.

- Integration with CI/CD : Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to ensure continuous quality checks.

Required Skills :

- Programming Languages : Proficient in Java for automation scripting.

- Automation Tools : Strong experience with Selenium WebDriver and Appium for test automation.

- API Testing : Hands-on experience with API testing using tools like Postman and RestAssured.

- Test Frameworks : Familiar with test frameworks like TestNG and JUnit.

- Version Control : Proficient in Git for version control.

- Build and Dependency Management : Experience with Maven for project build and dependency management.

- CI/CD : Exposure to Jenkins for continuous integration and deployment.

- Database Knowledge : Proficient in SQL for validating data and ensuring correct functionality.

Preferred Tools & Technologies :

- Performance Testing : Exposure to JMeter for load/performance testing.

- Bug Tracking & Collaboration : Familiar with JIRA for bug tracking and task management.

Qualifications :

- Strong knowledge of testing best practices, methodologies, and SDLC processes.

- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

- Experience working in an Agile development environment is a plus.
