Senior Technical Lead - Embedded & Linux Development (5-7 yrs)

Role : Sr. Technical Lead - Embedded & Linux Development

This role demands to demonstrate high degree of ownership, velocity and aptitude for independently leading technology projects and driving them from start. Driving the team on all technical aspects, Interacting with client for all technical inputs and queries. Understanding the technical requirements and getting the team aligned with the same.

Role and responsibilities :

- Drive end-end the development activities of the project

- Leading the team technically to deliver the release/sprint goals as per defined timelines

- Contribute to product and feature architecture and detailed design

- Refine product design while implementing new functionality

- Control over code quality, Unit testing and code review

- Detailed technical discussion with client and PO for product backlog

- Detailed technical discussion with team members on the sprint goals and grooming of the stories

- Ability to help team members in case any blockers/ showstopper and training.

Technical skills requirements :

The candidate must demonstrate proficiency in,

- Very good understanding of embedded product SW Architecture and Design life cycle

- Strong in C programming, Linux internals, IPC, Shell / Bash Scripting

- Python scripting hands-on experience

- Working experience on Dockers, Containers and Virtual Machines

- Very good programming and data structures skills

- Understanding of Linux based board bring-up, driver development, Linux kernel

- Good to have knowledge of Dockers and virtualization

- Understanding of PKI infrastructure and secure code development (SSL, secure boot)

- Experience on networking protocols: TCP/IP, DHCP, VLAN, NAT, NTP, ACL, IPSEC, OpenVPN

- Management Interfaces such as SNMP, Web, Rest Based Interfaces etc.

- Hands on experience on Embedded and Networking Products - Router, Switches, Gateways.

- Expertise in code engineering tool like static automated unit testing, code analysis, code coverage and automated build and deployment using DevOps.

- Understanding of MQTT, Modbus, Modbus TCP, Profinet, DNP3, ASCII, Radius, QOS will be added advantage

Required Qualifications :

- 4 years Graduate / 3 years Postgraduate, BE/B-Tech from top-tier universities

- 8+ years of relevant development experience

- Demonstrated ability to work well in an agile team environment
