Staff Software Engineer - Linux/Kernel (5-12 yrs)

Exp : 5 to 12years.

Skills : C, Rtos, Linux Kernel Device Driver, 4G / 5G.

In this role, you will focus on the following :

- Develop low level firmware drivers, system boot code, RTOS abstraction layers, firmware features and host applications.

- Participate in peer code and design reviews and unit testing.

- Interface with ASIC, algorithm, and systems engineers.

- Performance tuning and optimization of firmware stack to support new use-cases for SoC.

- Excellent C/C++ programming skills.

- Experience of developing embedded firmware/software in Linux environment.

- In depth understanding of Operating Systems (Linux and/or RTOS).

- Experience of debugging embedded firmware using JTAG and/or instruments like oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, etc.

- Experience in Linux kernel device drivers.

- Experience in U-boot, ARM Trusted FW Design.

- Experience in architecting network protocol stacks.

- Experience in working with Multi-Core ARM architectures.

- In depth understanding of version control software - SVN or Git or Perforce.

- Ticketing systems like JIRA or Redmine or Bugzilla.

- Understanding of O-RAN Management plane specifications.

- Understanding of O-RAN Sync Plane specifications.

Nice to have skills : Working experience with 4G/5G Physical layer protocols.
