Got Rejected In an Interview, Just Because I Didn’t Answer a Personal Question
So, I got invited for this interview, and they told me to be there at 9 AM. Of course, I get there early, like 8:30, because I don't want to be late. But then I end up waiting for 1.5 hours. Seriously, they didn't even acknowledge me until 10. Then this HR lady calls me in, and she's totally unprofessional. She's like, on her phone, making personal calls while I'm sitting right there. And then she starts asking me these really weird questions, like what my nickname is, and what my dad does for a living. It got really uncomfortable when she started pressing for details about where my dad works. I mean, what does that have to do with anything? So I politely told her I didn't want to answer, and she actually said, "Then we can't continue this interview." I was honestly shocked. But instead of arguing, I just stood up and said, “Alright then.” And walked out. I left feeling pissed. Not only did they waste an hour of my time, but the HR rep was also rude and unprofessional..

Interview preparation tips for other job seekers - I had applied through naukri and they called me after 1 week, soon my first telephonic round was completed and i waited for week for the result and after completing my second round telephonic interview, no response from them and after 15 days they called and inform me you have cleared, soon after that there was a face to face interview and asked me only basic question. But they have not yet contacted since been 2 weeks. My only a humble suggestion regarding the interview procedure is at least inform the candidates who have reached the final round whether they are selected or not. Which is a common manners
