Alternate documents for Employee verification?
My new employer asked for my previous offer letters and salary slips. When I inquired, they said it was for background verification.
However, I feel that providing these documents might affect salary negotiations, and it feels a bit unethical too.

Round: HR Interview
Experience: The experience was good. From the interview, it seemed that my proficiency and aptitude were being analyzed. The interview duration was 20-25 minutes. the questions were limited but tested my knowledge both of engineering and marketing. I was asked in the very beginning of my inclination and it was stated plainly by me.
Tips: - My inclination was asked, which was answered as research and analysis. This information helped me get selected in my current role of new product development.
- I was observant of my surroundings and that helped in the interview.
- Try to link your knowledge with the current job
Round: Other Interview
Experience: This was a general interaction with the panelists. Later, they handed me my offer letter. After interview, how well I noticed the surroundings was again discussed. Focus was on readiness to shift to other location for work
Tips: - Interview is the first step. Continue to be observant.
- My further interests were discussed.
General Tips: - Link your knowledge with company proficiency
- Maintain eye-contact and appear confident
Skill Tips: - Brush through your old books and favorite topics in study
