Interview Preparation Tips

Interview preparation tips for other job seekers - Recruiters tried to connect with me even I am living abroad which is highly appreciated. I felt like they are Not listening while answering. Some questions I felt it’s not relevant for hotel industry. It was not a standard interview with a proper format. For some questions he told like , we know all this, which was bit rude. I was not satisfied with the way of asking questions to the interviewee. I am an ISS trained HR recruiter. I was wondering how such a well renounced property has this kind of HR interview. I requested for the interview result as well, which is not received yet??

Skills evaluated in this interview

I was interviewed before May 2016.

Interview Preparation Tips

Round: Group Discussion
Experience: The interviewer gave us the topic and 1 minute to think about it. After 1 minute, one by one every candidate started to convey their thoughts. I was against the topic and gave the opening statement stating that mass media is easily corruptible and wrong information can be fed to the public with great ease. The basic lack of evidence of what actually happened leads us to believe in the wrong that is projected to us. I was seconded by few of my interview mates. After the results came out I was forwarded for the next round.
Tips: The conversation should be amongst the candidates and not with the interviewer. No random screaming and debate is required. Presentation of one's thoughts are to be done confidently and calmly. The information should be crisp and non-questionable.
Duration: 10 hours
