Interview preparation tips for other job seekers - *THINK THRICE BEFORE SHARING IDEAS AND STRATEGIES IN THEIR INTERVIEWS*

I was interviewed for the post of Manager- Merchandise for Mumbai location on 29th March'22, this was with their Director- Marketing and Loyalty. I would understand if the offer was not made because they found a better candidate but to steal ideas from a candidate and launch an entire campaign basis it is just not acceptable.

When asked about what strategies I could implement for their merchandise range, I shared a few ideas with her. I also mentioned how my marketing team at my previous org had collaborated with the famous designer Sabyasachi to launch a signature collection of our products with his designs over our products, and how the collaboration was a huge success. She took the same idea and is now launching the Sabyasachi + Starbucks merch collection on 12th April'22. She also went on and on about sharing more ideas if I had :(

At least be original, Not expected from an esteemed organisation like Tata Starbucks and stealing that too from by someone who sits at the director position of a marketing function is just not acceptable.
