I prioritize tasks and delegate responsibilities to ensure smooth functioning of the team.

Examples: During a team member's absence, I delegated their tasks to another team member and provided necessary training. I also ensured clear communication and monitored progress to ensure timely completion of tasks.

Accepted Answer

First of whether it is a planned leave or unplanned leave. If it is a planned leave then I need to have a back up plan in place and do a quick handover of the priority tasks and problem is resolved.
But if it is a unplanned leave then before he/she is gone for we need to tell him or her to list down the priority tasks during the leave period and do a quick knowledge transfer session with someone else of the team and record the session which is important.

This kind of situation will never occur if we plan it in a little bit different way viz.
Here is the Plan:
Create a plan in simple excel sheet Application wise and put Primary and Secondary Resources name against each application and do a internal KT Session for all the may be critical applications KT from Primary to Secondary that means you will have 2 persons for each application. So, if anyone goes for a leave for exigency then Secondary Resource can handle and support or delivery of the changes of application.
