Round 2 - Coding Test 

Round 1 was Coding test in which, there were 25 MCQs and 2 Coding questions.
MCQs were majorly output based (Java Outputs), one coding question was easy to medium and the other was medium.
The time was quite sufficient.

Round 3 - Technical 

(3 Questions)

  • Q1. There were 5 technical coding questions. The questions can be rated from easy to medium.

  • Q2. There were 4 puzzles asked. All are available on GFG.

  • Q3. Basic theory questions were also asked thoroughly.

Round 4 - One-on-one 

(7 Questions)

Interview preparation tips for other job seekers - My advice to all the candidates would be to revise all the basic concepts such as DSA, CN, OS, DBMS and theory basics on your main coding language (mine was C++).
Try to revise OOPS very well and brush up array.
Try to read out all puzzles from GFG.
Atlast, try to prepare basic HR questions and be ready for scenario based questions.

Experience - 5.9 Tech - React.js CTC- 13LPA Current company - TCS Offer in the process - Nagarro (19LPA) My LWD is 24th May, but I told Nagarro I can be released in 30 days. Now, should I: 1. Be honest and say I can join on 25th May? 2. Commit to 25th April and request a DOJ extension later?(By telling them some emergency) Q1). If I choose option 1, is there a risk they won’t release the offer?(As I am being hired for a particular project, so will they go for some immediate candidates?) Q2). If I choose option 2, could they revoke the offer?(As the HR told changing the DOJ in released offer letter is not possible

  • Q1. Program to return random number from array. Program to count the repetitive words.
  • Ans. 

    Program to return random number from array and count repetitive words.

    • Use Math.random() method to generate random index for array.

    • Use HashMap to count the frequency of each word in the array.

    • Iterate through the array and check if the word is already in the HashMap, if yes then increment its count.

    • To return random number from array, use the generated random index to access the element from array.
