Interview Preparation Tips

Round: Technical + HR Interview
Experience: The interview was a telephonic one. Interviews over the telephone can be tricky as the interviewer is not able to see you and thus a lot of the visual cues and gestures that would otherwise make a conversation complete are missed out on.

The interview was a two part process. First was a technical interview where the company's director of engineering asked questions related to the field I was applying for. The thing interviewers look for is the confidence with which you answer the questions and how you conduct yourselves during the interview.

Second was the HR interview. The main focus for the HR interviewer was to judge the fluency with which I was able to converse as the profile i was applying for demanded travel to customer sites abroad.
Tips: Be confident and try not to overtly impress the interviewers. Let your knowledge of the subject speak for you.

College Name: Thapar University
