Interview Preparation Tips

Interview preparation tips for other job seekers - After completing aptitude and behavioural test I was called for technical round. Interview went for around 1 hour and everything was going well. I answered most of the questions and he sounded satisfied with my answers. But at the end he said- "I like your confidence and you speak with such confidence; it shows you have knowledge on these concepts but unfortunately we can't move further with your profile because you have never worked on live projects, and we strictly need someone who has previously worked on live projects."
Funny part was that I had already informed this to the recruiter when he called for the job offer. I mentioned the same on my resume and even informed it to the interviewer at the start of interview. If that was the mandatory criteria, then why they wasted so much of time.
