  • Ans. Biofilm is a complex colony of bacterias and microbes. It is a layer of bacteria or other microbes that grows on and sticks to the surface of a structure. A biofilm may cover natural surfaces, such as teeth. They may also grow in or on medical devices, such as catheters or artificial joints.
