Functions and procedures are blocks of code that can be called to perform specific tasks in a program.
Functions are reusable blocks of code that can return a value.
Procedures are similar to functions but do not return a value.
Functions and procedures help in organizing code and making it more modular.
Examples: Function to calculate the square of a number, Procedure to print a message.
