Interview Preparation Tips

Round: HR Interview
Experience: hey the interview experience of BPCL is a very learning as well as FUN process ya you read it right the interview of BPCL is a very relaxing experience if you know what you are speaking and you are high on confidence the people are quite knowledgeable not only technically but also in various other fields like sports and literature.the main part you need to focus during the interview for bpc is your communication skill they are looking for a person who is knowledgeable and at the same time can put his points firmly.from the technical point of you you should be through with your training that you did during your collage and also you should be able to visualize the various real time cases that they put you in and should be able to think properly what would you do in a certain case while working for bpcl.apart from the training and your projects basic knowledge of the subjects in your stream are also important there is know need to be a master of all subjects but it helps if you prepare 1 or 2 subjects for them.

Round: HR Interview
Experience: HR part of the interview is the fun part it is like a informal discussion with the interviewer where they ask you about you and your likings, a word of caution dont lie to them unless you are a pretty good lier because there is a high possibility that you will get caught this could turn the interview away from your grasp.in short be prepared with your training, projects and try to cultivate a hobby, it not only helps in bpcl but also in other interviews and also work on your communication skills.having good communication skills and a good knowledge about my hobbies gave me success in my interview of BPCL.

Interview Preparation Tips

Round: CGPA
Experience: No written round, shortlisted on CGPA basis (more than 7.5 CGPE upto 7th sem).

Round: Group Discussion
Tips: Have knowledge about the latest political and economic issues as it is topic of almost GD’s.

Round: HR Interview
Experience: Two Rounds of interview
1st Round interview was purely technical
A Group of 6 jury member conducted the round. Level of question was high when compared with other companies, mostly questions were application based from Fluid mechanics, Hydraulic machines, Manufacturing, Material science & I. C. Engine.
2nd Round interview was H R based
Questions were easy but a little bit tricky.
I think projects undertaken was my strongest zone, I have done 15 projects in my B.Tech and I was a part of many technical and cultural activities in the college fest. With having one of the heaviest CV I presented my technical, managerial, leadership and creative skills in front of the jury. They asked me to explain one of the case study that I have presented in Cairn Ace on “making India energy self-sufficient by 2030” & I was able to grasp their attention with my points.
The interview was really fantastic, interviewers were highly knowledgeable, experienced and they went into the depth of each subject. It is not only the right answer that matters but how confidently you present your answer.
Tips: I suggest to the viewers to take summer training seriously as it matters in most of the companies. You should clearly know what your weaknesses are and present them straight forward if interviewer ask but prepare an answer what efforts you have made or making to improve them.
NO one is prefect but your efforts really make a difference.

General Tips: 1. I will suggest them to focus on all round development rather than just confining to a high CGPA.
2. You should clearly know what your weaknesses are and present them straight forward if interviewer ask but prepare an answer what efforts you have made or making to improve them.
NO one is prefect but your efforts really make a difference.
3. Have knowledge about the latest political and economic issues as it is topic of almost GD’s.
Skills: Communication Skills, Technicall Skills
College Name: Malviya National Institute of Technology, Japur

Interview Preparation Tips

Round: Group Discussion
Experience: No need to prepare for the GD but Electrical students would have to prepare a lot for any PSU that
visits.
Tips: In each branch, 30-40 people were shortlisted for the GD on the basis of their resumes (basically according to pointer and reservation). And around 10-12 people got through to the interview in each branch (No. of interviewers 3-4).

General Tips: It is assumed that PSUs generally look for the highest pointers and take fixed no. of students based on categories (Gen/OBC/SC/ST). But the results were disappointing for EEE students.
Please concentrate and study core electrical subjects.
