I was interviewed in Nov 2016.

Interview Preparation Tips

Round: Test
Experience: There were three sections in aptitude test.

a. The first was a logical test and questions based on sequences, if-else, were asked.The difficulty of the test was easy. (15 questions, each carrying 1 mark)

b. English Language test: The test involved vocab testing, antonyms, synonyms,suitable word, etc. The difficulty of test was easy. (15 questions, each carrying 1mark)

c. Technical Test: Core questions based on RLC, Q factor, Diodes, Transistors, ECAD were asked. The difficult of test was medium. (20 questions, each carrying 1 mark)

2. The cutoff of the test was 75% individually. Overall test was easy.
Duration: 2 hours 50 minutes
Total Questions: 50

Round: Group Discussion
Duration: 1 hour

Round: Personal Interviews
Experience: Two panelists were present. One from HR department and the other from technical field.

1. Tell us about yourself.
Prepare a nice 2 min description about yourself. A concentrated dialogue which speaks about your entire life. Give more importance on the recent events, achievements and skills.

2. What subjects are you taught?

Answered all the subjects ever taught in the course.

He checked my resume and started asking questions based on my resume.

3. How will you implement a robot without programming?

Answered it with mechanical representations with valves and pumps.

4. Do you know SCADA and PLC?

Yes.

5. What are the different transducers available? Have you seen any of them?
Told around 14 types of transducers with examples of each. Seen around 30-40transducers.

6. Have you used any in your project?
I had used a gas sensor and a DHT11 (Temperature and humidity sensor).

7. How does a temperature transducer works?
PTC and NTC
