Round: Test
Experience: The cgpa criteria was 6.0 .Around 70 people were giving the test from instrumentation background.In this round 50 questions were of quant and 50 questions were tecnical. so i prepared for some core subjects like industrial instrumentation, process dynamics, control systems, some questions were from thermodynamics.. basic questions from sensors and signal conditioning and measurements.. Quant covers the chapters of train problems,time and distance, time and work, SI , profit and loss , percentage, averages, age problems, boats and streams, log questions, Mixture problems, ratio and proportion, partnership probl, perm and comb , prob.Actually during the test they mainly focus on quant section. For preparing the results of the first round Quant section is considered more than the tecnical section . They shortlisted 21 students from instrumentation branch.After this was an interview round.
Tips: Prepare for quant and tecnical part well
Duration: 1 hour 30 minutes
Total Questions: 100

Round: Technical Interview
Experience: It was my first experience of my interview. I was very nervous about it because it was my first one. But i told myself to remain calm and went inside. He greeted me well and asked me to take a chair. He then asked me to tell about my family. I told about it. Then he started asking that why i took instrumentation and not any other branch. He then asked about my college activities.Then he started asking me tecnical instrumentation questions like if we want to measure this part which sensor we will use or what instrument we will use here. He then named some sensors and asked me the principle behind it. He also asked about my 2 months training in schneider. The interview went for 20-25 mins . After that we waited for the result. They took 5 people and offer letter was given the very next day in the morning.
Tips: You need to confident enough when you speak. When he ask you a question take a 5sec break think about it and then speak.

Interview Preparation Tips

Round: Test
Experience: 2 coding questions and others were basic mcqs based on various fundamental computer subjects
Tips: Read the basics of operating systems and computer networks and practice data structures implementation
Duration: 1 hour 30 minutes
Total Questions: 45

Round: Technical Interview
Experience: Questions based on projects were asked along with basic Java questions. Multi-threading and threads in Java were asked.
Tips: Study one language thoroughly and try to practice it as much as possible.

Round: Technical + HR Interview
Experience: Questions were purely (based on projects apart from a few). Interviewer asked about my interests and similar questions.
Tips: Just be yourself and don't try to act pretentious.

Round: HR Interview
Experience: Just the basic HR questions.
Tips: Just be easy

Experience: We were first taught the basics of operations involved in working with an investment bank. Based on the workshop we were given a case study with a list of companies to select the one's which are potencial candidates for investments. We were all divided into groups of 5 students.

Experience: The test was basic. Economical aptitude requires prior knowledge of economics concepts. The review topicwas GST bill.

Round: Resume Shortlist
Experience: Students above 7.00 cgpa were shortlisted for the test.

Round: Test
Experience: It was a coding test for 3 hours where we were given a scenario to be solved using our programming skills. The question could be solved in any programming language comfortable. The shortlisting depends on the number of test cases passed. There are about 50 test cases for the question.

Round: Test
Experience: 10 questions of aptitude containing English paragraph solving , Maths aptitude and also logical reasoning. Other 3 questions were of programming in any language comfortable.Two of the questions were partially done.In one of them only the logic was to be coded and in the other the error was to be corrected to give the correct output.
Duration: 1 hour 20 minutes
Total Questions: 13

Round: Technical Interview
Experience: They test your basic knowledge of programming, databases and how well you have worked with your projects.
There are actually three more rounds. 2 technical and one HR. I was not selected for them. Out of 40 students only 5 were selected after the final round.
