Round: Group Discussion
Experience: Hell of an experience. 20 people inside the gd only 3 were selected.Experience of a life time. Around 800 people gave gd and 120 were shortlisted.
Tips: Listen carefully to the question asked by the examiner.Answer straight to the point.don't deviate .Give gud points and be different . try to be innovative and be yourself.Before you go for gd surf the net and have a rough idea.
Duration: 10 minutes
Round: Test
Experience: Reasonings were asked, high quality verbal questions were asked
Tips: Prepare from rs aggarwal and for verbal u should have clear concepts in grammar,refer wren and Martin for a gud hold over verbal section.
Duration: 40 minutes
Round: Group Activity
Experience: Audio visual exam was taken , quite similar to BEC. The video round was the toughest , we were asked to subtitle for movies .
Tips: It was the toughest round , you should have a good hold on English for passing this round, liatning and writing skills are required. Listen to English channels like BBC newa,HBO,AXN. To develop writing skills read through novels and basic grammar books that must help.
General Tips: Be confident, Be different, give 100% , act smart.study hard .
Skill Tips: Be confident , try to give everything you have.participate in extra curricular activities that will surely help

Funny Moments: Funny moment , when I got selected among 900 students and was the only one from my branch.If I can do you can believe me . And frankly buds I was not getting placed in It companies since it was not my fote..so discover yourself and do well.

Interview Preparation Tips
Round: Test
Experience: Time management is very important to clear the aptitude test. Besides this a lot of practice is also very important. This round is the major filteration round. Though each round is a major filteration round cuz NTT DATA is not a bulk recruiter like cts, infy etc. Almost 2-3 thousand students were there for this round from 6 different colleges and only 100 of them were selected.
Tips: Its better to start with the preparation from before and do consider the previous year placement papers available at indiabix. You can practice more n more. Apart from this you can go through the r.s aggarwal aptitude book also.
Round: Group Discussion
Experience: There were many panels and each panel had 10-12 students. The H.r first decided some other topic but when he asked wether everybody is aware of the topic ..there were few who didn't know about it. .so he picked up another topic. Fortunately he asked me to start with the discussion. Always try to be the one to break the ice.
Tips: The only key to crack this round is that yku should talk. You should definitely not confuse gd with debate. You should not argue or by any chance shouldn't sound arrogant.
Round: Technical Interview
Experience: They will definitely ask about your project so be thorough with that. Ntt data is a Japanese company . Though this is IT but it will ask from the subject of your own choice from people those who have a non IT background. After you get shortlisted in d gd they will give you a form to fill. Do fill that form without fail. If it is blank then even if u go to the hr round he will reject you.
Tips: Just be confident and always smile. Be careful on what you write in your resume cuz they can ask about anything based on your resume.
Round: HR Interview
Experience: This round was a cake walk. Just be confident and updated about the company. Do ask him a question if he asks you to do that.but make sure it shouldn't be vague or out of the picture.
Tips: Keep smiling and don't get nervous. If they ask you about location preferences, dun get firm at one place.try to be flexible.
General Tips: Donot loose hope at any cost. You never know when your moment is going to arrive. Do practice the aptitude as much as you can. Finally NTT DATA selected only 50 overall in wch 11 were from my college n i was lucky to be one of them. the offer letter was issued the same day and we were all venerated. Its just a game of confidence. All the best
Skill Tips: Try to add some co curricular activities and justify your role.

Interview Preparation Tips
Round: Resume Shortlist
Experience: Resume is the most evident and important part that defines and show case who you are to the interviewer, So try to work on it and make a perfect one! I know perfection is the sky but friends sky is the limit ;)
Tips: Resume must be crisp and to the point, Interviewer is least bothered about your tons of unwanted things that you add , he expects the key points such as your strengths with respect to the technical aspects and experience or courses which you must have taken during your curriculum
Round: Test
Experience: Test is quite up to the standard and you must be good with the aptitude and reasoning skills to clear this round.
Tips: try not to make or select the choices that you don't know because negative marking is there.The main aim that must be kept is to secure the minimum cut off for selection.so answer wisely and just aim for the minimum cut off because that will do your work and more over no one asks or cares your mark that you get here in your further rounds.
General Tips: most important advice I would like to give is be calm! looks like a silly advice for most of them but trust me that helped me a lot and be confident! these two are the key factors that scrutinize you in the interview process,be youself and at the same time politically correct and moderate for what ever they ask

Motivation: believe me it has the best training experience one can ask for! just browse on the youtube about its training campus in mysore.Its mindblowing and jaw dropping! it has the reputation of the worlds largest professional training center and the product of the trainee which comes out of the training in work experience is Infosys is just a kick start in your career,you get to learn a lot for the nerd freaks and parallely enjoy a lot for the cool dudes! ;)
Funny Moments: The one moment I never forget in my interview experience is the way I diverted my interviewer from not asking and diverting him from the questions which he posed on me for which I dint have the slightest of knowledge upon. like I told you be confident on what you talk and the stand you take for, interviewer expects active participation from your side,it doesn't matter if you don't know few answers,unless you are confident and good in communication and can connect to the interviewer

Tips: If you basics are right no need to worry

Experience: The topic was on comparing old technology vs Latest technology. Explain the same using chart drawingsI was nominated as the group lead by the other mates. I was supposed to only guide the team, I should not work on it.
Tips: Take every one's opinion and work as a team. If you split up the work's ensure you understand what others have done. One of my friend was over excited and dint pay attention what the others had done and paid price for it.And stand on the team's stance and if there is come thing wrong accept it.

Experience: It went more on debate rather rather than discussion
Tips: Be patient when others speak. Said that you too must speak.

Experience: It was purely technical and I dont remember all that was asked its been almost a year.

Experience: Aptitude round was simple. One or two logical questions were a bit time consuming, but otherwise it was fine.
Tips: The difficulty level was moderate. Decent preparation can get you through. For the 'Semiconductor and Electronic Devices' section, the concepts have to be clear and on fingertips in order to solve the questions. Speed and accuracy, to be kept in mind while solving the problems.
Round: Technical Interview
Experience: Quite a grilling experience. The concepts and the subject knowledge is tested through and through. Various questions from the core subjects. The questions seemed to be sprouting one after the other. Quick thinking was required. The interview went on for around 40-45 minutes.
Tips: Keep calm and answer what you know. Don't try to beat around the bush. If you don't know, just tell that you aren't sure of it and move on to the next question. If programming type questions are asked, try to get the logic at least right. Prepare your core subjects well before appearing for the technical round.
Round: HR Interview
Experience: HR round was a little 'stress-less' than the technical round. Was asked about how the entire recruitment process was and what changes could be made. What I did during my engineering and what I learnt, why Aricent and so on.
Tips: Be genuine, be yourself. You wouldn't want to be caught bluffing. Be sure of what you put in the resume and be ready to answer anything if asked.
General Tips: Maintain Composure through out the process. The entire process took place on a single day and can go till late evening & night, so it can be a little tiring. Empty your mind, take a deep breath for entering for the interview. Keep a cool head and you're good to go. :)
Skill Tips: Accuracy and Time Management for the aptitude round can be improved with practice. Technical Knowledge is not something that can be gained overnight. But at least go through the concepts of core subjects.

Experience: HR round was a little 'stress-less' than the technical round. Was asked about how the entire recruitment process was and what changes could be made. What I did during my engineering and what I learnt, why Aricent and so on.
Tips: Be genuine, be yourself. You wouldn't want to be caught bluffing. Be sure of what you put in the resume and be ready to answer anything if asked.
General Tips: Maintain Composure through out the process. The entire process took place on a single day and can go till late evening & night, so it can be a little tiring. Empty your mind, take a deep breath for entering for the interview. Keep a cool head and you're good to go. :)
Skill Tips: Accuracy and Time Management for the aptitude round can be improved with practice. Technical Knowledge is not something that can be gained overnight. But at least go through the concepts of core subjects.

Experience: Though it is an IT company questions will be mainly asked from your own stream. Still they would ask a basic C or C++ question.
