Round: Test Experience: There were some questions on sheet metal work,lubrication and general questions. Duration: 30 minutes Total Questions: 20
Round: Technical Interview Experience: in technical they asked mainly manufacturing process like function of gates and runners,metal casting,welding and working of pumps.
Round: HR Interview Experience: In HR they dint ask me much. Just introduction, family background, where do you see yourself after 5 years from now?

Round: Test Experience: There was only technical test was there..Around 30 question was there .All were multiple choice.question was asked from each subject like thermodynamic,machine tool,CAD,manufacturing science.20 minutes was given to solve it. Duration: 20 minutes Total Questions: 30
Round: Technical Interview Experience: there was only one technical interview.first they asked me tell about yourself.i was given only 2 minutes. then they asked one subject .i told thermodynamic.they asked thermodynamics law,entropy.then they asked what will happen if we replace fluid with air in a compressor.after they asked about functioning of camshaft.

Round: Test Experience: Only technical questions questions related to gears,engines,transmission. Duration: 20 minutes
Round: HR Interview Experience: Major part of the interview was hr for me. The interview panel was a bit serious. They repeatedly asked whether you will stay with the company and about any plans for higher studies.
Skill Tips: Emphasize that you will stay with the company . Even if the technical questions are tough stay confident and answer the HR questions. College Name: NIT WARANGAL
Round: Test Experience: There was only a technical test. it comprised of questions related to pumps and internal combustion engines. Duration: 90 minutes
Round: Technical Interview Experience: In this round,they asked me about my projects and summer training. Then they asked about questions about mechanical vibrations, material engineering(iron carbide equilibrium diagram and TTD curves). They asked what are my areas of interest and whether I was placed already.
Round: HR Interview Experience: The interview was not easy but also not the toughest. I had a good understanding of my summer project,so i could answer all the questions. Also, as i revised my 2nd year subjects also ,I succeeded in getting through the interview.
Skill Tips: If one has good grip in all his subjects starting from 2nd year, he could crack the interview easily. So have a conceptual understanding of every topic and your projects also. College Name: NIT WARANGAL
Round: Test Experience: Mainly asked questions about automobile engineering, design of machine elements and thermodynamics. Duration: 30 minutes
Round: HR Interview Experience: I learnt that whenever i am answering a question i should be confident and not use words like possibly or probably because it was irritating one of the interviewers. Also i learnt not to guess as guessing is another thing which can anger an interviewer.
Skill Tips: Make sure you go thru any automobile engineering book and also know about the latest trends in automobile engineering. Make sure to cover thermodynamics, strength of materials and I.C engines before this interview. College Name: NIT WARANGAL
Round: Test Experience: The questions were entirely technical.There were 20 questions and out of 20, only 5-6 were known to many of the students. The selecion process to interview was a bit lenient. Duration: 20 minutes Total Questions: 20
Round: Technical Interview Experience: Questions were basically diversified and the fields were varying from person to person. I was asked from I.C.ENGINES and the questions were very simple(octane number and cetane number).
Round: HR Interview Experience: There was no separate HR interview,but some questions were asked regarding family background,higer education.
Skill Tips: Maruti is a good company and its training has a good value. there is no need for serious preparation, just go through the basic fundamentals and to be strictly speaking I haven't even touched the book,but I have covered the interview with my project. College Name: NIT WARANGAL
Round: Test Experience: In technical section the questions are conceptual and most of the questions are from electrical power system and protection.2 to 3 questions are from electronics.Few questions are from electrical machines also. Duration: 25 minutes
Round: Technical Interview Experience: In technical interview they asked me very very fundamental qestions like fleming's right an d left hand rule.Difference between mixer and fan motor.They have also asked me questions from power system and about my project work.
Round: HR Interview Experience: In HR they asked me why do you want to join an automobile company bein an electrical engineer and also asked me about my self. My experience was really good.At the starting of the interview i was quiet nervous but after meeting with the panel members i felt quiet relaxed and then I answered almost all the questions asked by them.
Skill Tips: Make your concepts clear and be confident whatever you know.Build your confidence level as much as you can and try to be always positive and assertive.Try to improve your communication skills. College Name: NIT WARANGAL
