Interview Preparation Tips

Round: Other Interview
Experience: Your answers on the written tests will be discussed i.e how did you solve this question etc. So prepare your answers well and also know the answers for your wrong and unattempted questions.
Tips: Decent CGPA ( above 6.5 for CS ) and above 7.5 for non CS is required. Good knowledge on C and Data structures would be enough for a non CS student and knowledge on JAVA would be more helpful for a CS Student Don’t tell them that you have any other interview. I mean some of my friends with a CGPA above 8 told them that they also have to attend other interviews on the same day. They were advised to continue with the same and are not proceeded to the next round. Make them understand that you are completely interested in this company.

Round: Technical Interview
Experience: Your knowledge on C will be tested. Most probably they would ask questions on pointers linked lists sorting algorithms and trees etc.
Tips: Put your thought process before them. You don’t have to give them the final answer just explain them how you are trying to solve the problem step-wise. Let the interview know your thought process.

Round: HR Interview
Experience: Questions on your CV will be asked, e.g. on your project and internship.

Skill Tips: As far as i get it, Students with CGPA between 7.5 and 8.5 are preferred. As far as i get it, Students with CGPA between 7.5 and 8.5 are preferred. One project with coding would be of great help. The work in paypal would be on Data base management, Java and C++. Be strong in C. Course on data structures and data base management systems would be of great help.

Interview Preparation Tips

Round: Test
Experience: Quant and Programming skills were tested.
Tips: Good Communication Skills is required.

Round: Interview
Experience: They run you through your answers and ask the basic HR questions
Tips: Just stay confident and cool.

Round: Interview
Experience: 30 minute interview on coding and quant skills. Basic coding skills.

Round: Interview
Experience: Questions on algorithms, databases, operating systems and networks were asked and code had to be hand written.
Tips: Knowledge on the important subjects like databases, Operating Systems, Networks and Algorithms. Stay confident as before.

Skill Tips: Talking about Internships - anything related to coding and CS in a reputed company will do good. There’s this book on called ‘Programming Interviews Exposed’ which I read for a month and found a question bank that turned out to be really helpful.
